Every library has its own character. This one is modern in its design and yet rambling in its layout, as if different sections were added at different times. However, it still has the serenity and quiet that anyone could need and plenty of space for reading or research.
Librarians are helpful and the selection is broad and fairly large and even eclectic (see photos) That's especially true of its audiovisual media. There's also donated books that are available for free and a small bookstore adjacent to it that specializes in excellent used books. All in all, a great find

What a beautiful library. Inside and out. Inside there's pretty green carpet everywhere and an adorable book store. On the outside is a wonderful park with all sorts of wildlife and seating, and even a small bush maze! This is a wonderful place.

I absolutely love this library, they have everything.

The staff really makes this library special. They all know us by name and can always be seen with a smile on their faces.

I don't know how they do it but they seem to have every motion picture film available on DVD and often Blu-Ray as well. In this regard this library is better than any other I have seen.

The children's books and programs are also top notch. Our son grew up on the book readings and it was always one of the things he looked forward to all week.

There are plenty of internet stations.

The restrooms are clean.

All in all we love this place and highly recommend it.

This is the main library in my area, and I've been going since I was a kid; it goes through frequent renovations, but the staff are kind and the select is varried, with plenty of content for everyone. If you're in the area and want to spend some time, it's a good place to do it, and Bird Island behind the library is a nice place to walk and take photos.

I joined because I wanted to casually read up on chemistry, calculus and other scientific interests. The highest level I could find was elementary. If you like cheesy romantic fiction this is the place for you.

Love the toddler classes. And the kids area is set up so nice. The kids have such a good time here. Its a good place to play quietly and enjoy a different kind of activity rather then just the park. Lots of books to choose from. Love it.

Cant ever get enough of the library..can have lunch outside, walk around the beautiful boardwalk and see all the turtles in the lake, have a blast at the toddler movement class..my teenager has his own spot too, just to chill... just the neatest place to bond with your children

Great book sale happening month of December. Very helpful and cheerful librarians. Great place to work at comfortable tables.

This one star is for just the baby story time class on Thursday. I used to bring my baby few months ago and it was fun with different instructor. It was more interacting and playful. The instructor would read with soft voice and excitement, bring balls and let the babies kick, play songs and sing while babies would grab their shaker eggs, also she would bring out big drum for babies to tap them.
Last week when I went to the library after not going few months ago, there was a new instructor. Another elderly lady was there and she read 1 book only that last 1 minute ( because as you know baby books are short and more graphics ). The elderly lady left and the other instructor stayed sitting down on her mat, she read 1 book then she sing one song and then she just left the shakers eggs in the middle for everyone to grab one. Then I saw the time and there was 15 minutes left and she just let everyone to talk. She didn’t bring out wood stick and sing, she didn’t bring out short color vail to play with it, Nothing that babies would play with it instead just sitting there. Sorry but I left. I missed the previous lady with red hair. Forgot her name. But she was there before this summer starts. Other than the library customer service and the section books for kids and computers for learning it’s great and wonderful.
