I adore this library. The staff are wonderful, informative, and kind. They always let us know what fun events they have coming up. The children’s section is incredible with beautiful murals, kitchen play area, and educational toys. We love the preschool days on Wednesday as well. This library is ideal for kids! They have a whole area separate from adults so any playing with the provided toys does not disturb those in the adult/teen section. This truly feels like one of the most family friendly libraries in the area.

The Leon Valley library has the most awesome staff. They are super friendly, knowledgeable and are always around to help if you need it. This library has a wide selection of books, computer access and they also have puzzles!

My granddaughter enjoys interacting in the play area with other children. She loves story time and music theater. It's definitely a fun place to visit.

I love the children’s area and the reading time they have. I highly recommend this library!! FYI I tried checking out a few books for my daughter but since it’s located in a different city it wasn’t free. But it’s nice that once you get a SA public library card (Texshare) you can start checking out books from there. Over all, super awesome library for little ones!

The library is in good standing a nice quiet place to study for sure although the service here is subpar, every time I would ask a question I was met with mediocre answers and energy. Besides that great quiet place.

We just moved here so our goal is to explore. Yesterday we checked out this Leon Valley library as our closest library was closed. My toddler loved it! Very spacious toddler area, lots of toys for pretend play and there was a class going on with tot songs. I loved the art work on the walls as I could see all of my childhood favorite stories in the illustration. The staff was super friendly and helpful even though I didn't find the books I was looking for this time. We did meet a few nice families!

Lovely Quaint Place. The employees are always nice and friendly, the shelves are always stocked with good stuff, right across the street from a really nice park for the kids.
