The Henry Madden Library at California State University, Fresno, is an exceptional resource and an integral part of the campus. My experiences here have always been positive, and it's a fantastic place for studying, research, and even just relaxing with a good book.

The library itself is a beautiful, modern facility with plenty of natural light, comfortable seating, and a welcoming atmosphere. The architecture is both impressive and functional, providing a serene environment conducive to both individual study and group work. The layout is well-organized, with clearly marked sections and plenty of space to accommodate students and visitors.

As an online college student, this library has become my essential study spot. It is a spotless library with free water refill stations, a Starbucks inside, and clean bathrooms that provide free menstrual products. I enjoy coming here with friends when we are collaborating on projects and if I am alone, I study in the quiet zones. My only complaints are that sometimes there are people in the quiet zone who are being loud or playing obnoxious music and the chairs are less comfortable than the ones in the normal areas.

This library is absolutely phenomenal. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in Fresno.

There are a ludicrous amount of books, plenty of room for study, quiet & noisy areas (sometimes you need a break from the silence), a starbucks, infinite power outlets, as well as large conference rooms that you can probably reserve with some effort.

10/10 would visit again (and I do, everyday).

A great library with a lot of resources! There are three floors. You have the basement where you can go study and get a supplemental instruction with certain topics and subjects. The regular floor s to check out stuff and to get help with the DiscoverE resources and where you can check out a computer. The second floor is dedicated to an exhibit, renting out rooms, the Starbucks coffee place, a dedicated quiet area for studying and a great view facing the north side. The third floor offers a media room and more studying area.

It's a pretty great library. Lots of books, the system makes them easy to find, and it's open very late, but I only give it four stars because it's pretty noisy, which I guess the staff has little control over, but still, it's distracting.
Whose idea was it to install those cat-walk-like things for the stairs? And what was the point of it? They make soooooooo much noise that can be heard throughout the library whenever anybody uses them.
Also, the reading room is nice, but sometimes people talk in it which defeats the purpose of having a reading room, and it's fairly often used for events, especially around finals and midterm weeks, which also helps defeat the entire purpose of having a reading room.

All in all, it's a good library. Not the best I've ever used, but it's helpful and the function it's supposed to serve is served.
